Industry
See the real progress, not the progress report.
We build the project controls, materials tracking and field data software that large construction and infrastructure programmes need, so cost, schedule and site reality stay connected from groundwork through to handover.
Overview
A large construction or infrastructure programme runs on documents that go stale the moment they are printed. The schedule lives in one tool, the cost plan in another, procurement in a third, and actual site progress in the heads of engineers and a stack of daily reports. By the time everything is reconciled for the monthly review, the numbers describe a project that no longer exists. Overruns are rarely a surprise at the end. They were visible weeks earlier, in data nobody had joined up in time.
We were built by people who worked in heavy industry and supply chain before they consulted, so we understand what it takes to trust a progress figure and why a project director distrusts one that cannot be traced to the field. We start by advising honestly on where control is really being lost, usually between the plan and what is actually happening on site, then build the project controls and field capture that keep cost, schedule and progress reading from the same source. When earned progress is measured rather than estimated, the review meeting stops debating the number and starts managing the project.
The questions we help answer are the ones that protect margin and time: where the schedule is genuinely slipping and why, which materials and equipment are on site versus committed versus installed, how cost is trending against real progress rather than invoices, and whether the safety and quality records will actually stand up at handover. Materials and plant are a major cost and a constant source of leakage, so knowing what has arrived, what has been used and what is idle turns guesswork into control.
Sites are not friendly to software. Connectivity is unreliable, conditions are rough and the people capturing data are walking the works, not sitting at a desk. We design for that: field tools that work offline and sync later, simple capture that a busy engineer will actually use, and a clean thread from construction into the asset and O&M records the operator inherits. We advise, we build and we can run it afterwards, so the platform keeps pace as the programme moves from civils to commissioning to handover.
The reality
What we hear from construction & infrastructure teams.
Cost, schedule and site progress living in separate tools that never quite agree
Progress reported by estimate rather than measured, so slippage shows up late
Materials and equipment leakage, with no clear view of delivered, used and idle
Field data captured on paper and lost or delayed before it reaches the office
Safety and quality records scattered and hard to assemble when they matter
Weak handover, with asset and O&M data reconstructed after the fact for the operator
How we help
Software and data, built for construction & infrastructure.
Project controls
Cost, schedule and progress joined into one consistent picture, so overruns and slippage are visible early enough to act on rather than explained after the fact.
Field data capture
Offline-first tools that let engineers record progress, quality and safety at the works and sync when a connection returns, so nothing is lost between site and office.
Materials & equipment tracking
A clear view of what has been ordered, delivered, installed and left idle, turning a major source of cost leakage into something you can actually control.
Progress & earned value
Measured progress tied back to the schedule and cost plan, so earned value reflects what is built on site rather than what someone hoped for in the report.
Safety & quality records
Inspections, permits and quality checks captured in the field and kept in one place, ready for audit and defensible when a claim or incident arises.
Asset & O&M handover
A clean thread from construction data into the asset register and O&M records, so the operator inherits a usable model instead of a box of documents.
How we work
People who have worked your world, not just read about it.
Advise
We walk the site and the project office, trace where control is really being lost between plan and field, and agree the shortest path to progress figures you can trust.
Build
We deliver in working increments, getting field capture and project controls live on a real package first, then extending across the programme so value shows up early.
Run
We can operate and support the platform through the life of the project, adapting it as the works move from civils to commissioning and on to handover.
- Weeks earlier
- Schedule slippage and overruns seen while there is time to act
- One picture
- Cost, schedule and site progress reading from the same source
- Handover-ready
- Asset and O&M data assembled as work happens, not after
FAQ
Questions we hear a lot.
How is measured progress different from the progress in our reports?
Most reported progress is an estimate rolled up from the field and reconciled weeks later, by which point it describes a project that has already moved on. We help you measure progress against defined work and tie it back to the schedule and cost plan, so earned value reflects what is actually built on site. The difference is that slippage becomes visible while you can still do something about it, rather than at the monthly review.
Will field tools work where site connectivity is poor?
Yes. Site connectivity is rarely reliable, so we build field tools that work offline, capture progress, quality and safety data locally, and sync when a connection returns. Engineers can record what they see as they walk the works, and nothing is lost between the site and the project office. Capture is kept simple deliberately, because a tool a busy engineer will not use is worse than no tool at all.
Can you help reduce materials and equipment leakage?
This is one of the most common reasons infrastructure clients come to us. Materials and plant are a major cost and leakage is easy to lose track of across a large site. We give you a clear view of what has been ordered, delivered, installed and left idle, so committed, on-site and used quantities can be reconciled. Once that is visible, waste and idle plant become something you can manage rather than absorb.
Do you support asset handover and O&M for the operator?
We do, and it is far cheaper to build the handover thread as work happens than to reconstruct it at the end. We connect construction data into the asset register and O&M records, so the operator inherits a structured, usable model instead of a box of documents. That makes the asset easier and cheaper to run for its whole life, which is where most of the real cost sits.
