Industry

Every part traceable, every line in step.

We build the supply-chain visibility, quality and plant software that automotive OEMs and their tier-1 and tier-2 suppliers depend on, so traceability holds, lines stay in sequence and demand swings do not turn into shortages.

Overview

Automotive runs on a promise that the right part, of the right quality, arrives in the right sequence at the right minute. That promise is held together across an OEM and a long tail of tier-1 and tier-2 suppliers, each with their own systems, schedules and view of the truth. When it works it is invisible. When it breaks, a single late or defective component can stop a line or trigger a recall that reaches far beyond the plant that made the part. The hard part is rarely making the component. It is keeping the whole chain honest and visible in time to react.

We were built by people who worked in heavy industry and supply chain before they consulted, so we understand sequenced supply, the weight of a PPAP submission and why a quality engineer will not sign off on data they cannot trace. We start by advising honestly on where the chain actually loses visibility, usually at the handoffs between OEM releases, supplier schedules and shopfloor reality, then build the integration and traceability that let a part be followed from raw material through process to the vehicle it ends up in. When traceability is genuine, a containment or recall stops being a plant-wide panic and becomes a precise, defensible action.

The questions we help answer are the ones that protect delivery and reputation: where the supply chain is exposed to a single supplier or a swinging schedule, which defects recur on which processes and lines, how OEE is really trending across bottleneck stations, and whether just-in-time and sequenced supply can absorb the next demand swing without a scramble. Line and plant OEE, quality by process and supplier performance become visible enough to manage rather than firefight.

Automotive plants are fast, sequenced and unforgiving of delay. The people who need the answer are on the line, and the schedule does not wait. We design for that: robust integration across OEM and supplier systems, shopfloor tools that keep up with takt, and quality and traceability data that stands up to an audit or a customer claim. We advise, we build and we can run the platform afterwards, so it keeps pace as models, volumes and the supplier base change.

Automotive & Components operations

The reality

What we hear from automotive & components teams.

Limited visibility across tier-1 and tier-2 suppliers until a shortage is already here

Traceability gaps that turn a containment or recall into a plant-wide scramble

PPAP and APQP evidence scattered across spreadsheets and email at submission time

Recurring defects whose root cause stays hidden across process and supplier data

Line and plant OEE felt at the bottleneck but not measured where it matters

Just-in-time and sequenced supply that cannot absorb sudden demand swings

How we help

Software and data, built for automotive & components.

01

Supply-chain visibility

A joined-up view across OEM releases, tier-1 and tier-2 schedules and shopfloor reality, so exposure and shortages are seen early enough to act rather than absorb.

02

Part traceability

A genealogy that follows a part from raw material through each process to the vehicle, so a containment or recall becomes precise, fast and defensible.

03

Quality management (PPAP/APQP)

PPAP and APQP evidence captured in structured form as it is produced, so submissions are assembled in hours and audits hold up rather than triggering a scramble.

04

Plant & line OEE

Availability, performance and quality measured where the bottleneck really sits, so OEE becomes a number you can improve instead of a figure argued over.

05

Sequenced & JIT supply

Tools that keep just-in-time and sequenced supply in step with the line and flag risk early, so demand swings are managed rather than met with a last-minute scramble.

06

Defect & root-cause insight

Defects linked back to process, station and supplier, turning recurring problems into patterns you can fix at source rather than screen at the end.

How we work

People who have worked your world, not just read about it.

01

Advise

We work through the chain from OEM release to supplier shopfloor, find where visibility and traceability really break, and agree the shortest path to a picture you can trust.

02

Build

We deliver in working increments, closing the most costly visibility or traceability gap first, then extending across quality and OEE so value shows up early.

03

Run

We can operate and support the platform, adapting it as models, volumes and the supplier base change so it stays accurate rather than drifting out of date.

FAQ

Questions we hear a lot.

How does part traceability help with recalls and containment?

Genuine traceability lets you follow a part from raw material through each process to the exact vehicles it went into. When a defect is found, you can define the affected population precisely instead of containing far more than necessary, and you can show your working to the customer and the auditor. That turns a recall or containment from a plant-wide scramble into a controlled, defensible action, which protects both cost and reputation.

Can you make PPAP and APQP submissions less painful?

Yes. Most of the pain comes from evidence being scattered across spreadsheets and email, then assembled under time pressure at submission. We capture PPAP and APQP data in structured form as it is produced, so a submission is pulled together in hours rather than days and holds up under audit. The quality team spends its time on the parts that matter rather than on chasing documents.

How do you give visibility across tier-1 and tier-2 suppliers?

We integrate around the systems that already exist rather than forcing everyone onto one platform. By joining OEM releases, supplier schedules and shopfloor signals into a consistent view, exposure to a single supplier or a swinging schedule becomes visible before it turns into a shortage. The aim is early warning, so the chain can react in time instead of discovering the problem when the line stops.

Do you measure OEE across the plant or just one line?

Both, but we focus on where the bottleneck really sits, because that is where OEE decides output. We measure availability, performance and quality at the stations that constrain the line, and tie losses back to genuine causes rather than vague codes. That makes OEE a number you can actually improve, and it connects plant performance to the delivery promises the supply chain depends on.
